Banana Pudding Dip
Before we get started on this dip, please know that any time you are working with pudding, that pudding thickens in the fridge. If you are not planning on eating this dip immediately, it must be stored in the fridge due to the dairy. The longer you keep it cold, the more likely it is to thicken to the consistency of a silky pudding of course.
To me this is great because a banana dip should be nice and thick to stay on a vanilla wafer – but if you prefer the dip a lot creamier and even more irresistible, prior to serving, fold in an 8 oz defrosted container of whipped cream and that should fluff it right back up again.
- In a bowl, add powder from INSTANT banana cream pudding and whipping cream.
- Now take two soft bananas and break them into pieces and add to bowl. Lastly add powdered sugar.
- Use a hand mixer to combine well until pudding begins to thicken and bananas are completely mixed in.
- Dump pudding dip into a bowl or a pie crust to serve.
- Top with broken Nilla wafers on top.
- Serve immediately or put in fridge until ready to serve.
- NOTE: Dip will thicken up the longer it chills.
