Caprese Salad Skewers
You already know I love all that is Caprese. From these perfect ladybug caprese appetizers, to my full on caprese salad recipe, it’s no surprise that I cannot get enough tomatoes and cheese. I am always looking for new ways to incorporate them in breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I mean even when I go out to eat, the Burratta and tomatoes is my favorite to order!!
Which is why we dove into our own pile of Caprese skewers today for a snack.
And guess what? Flawless! Divine! Perfection!
In fact, these mini caprese salad bites don’t need big clumps of over bearing basil to be creative or tasty.
You can mix up the bites by alternating cheese, tomato types, or loading up just on the veggie goodies.
Caprese Skewers Recipe
Making these isn’t much of a “recipe” per say. You simply slice your tomatoes (I prefer in 3rds) and alternate by colors, types and adding sliced up mozzarella cheese.
Would you like a little variety in your Caprese skewers? So easy.
- Red Onions
Lay a whole pile out for a party on a gorgeous platter and let your guests pick their favorites.
Once our skewers were made, we simply drizzled with a bit of Balsamic dressing right before serving.
You can also supply individual condiment cups so your guests can dip.
While this isn’t an intense recipe, it IS delicious and perfect to serve.
I hope that this inspires you to get out there, grab some cartons of tomatoes and start serving this 5 minute appetizer!
