Ingredients

cup
melted butter
1
cup
brown sugar
1/3
cup
white sugar

eggs
2
teaspoons
vanilla
2
cups
flour

teaspoon
baking soda

teaspoon
salt
1
bag
10 oz. chocolate chunks
coarse sea salt
Instructions
Melt butter and let butter stand for 10 minutes to cool.
Combine butter, brown sugar and white sugar and beat well. (I use a stand mixer)
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Mix together flour, baking soda and salt with a whisk and combine with the wet ingredients.
Beat until combined.
Fold in chocolate chunks with a spatula.
Cover and let batter stand for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a 2 tablespoon portion scoop, scoop dough onto baking sheet, making sure cookies are 2" apart. (I fit six cookies on one sheet).
Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Bake for 9 minutes.
Let hot cookies stand on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing from pan and cooling on a cooling rack.
Repeat until all the batter is used and cookies are baked.
