Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
Cook egg noodle pasta al dente.
Add uncooked ground beef, cut up onion, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder to a large skillet.
Heat beef mixture on medium high, stirring frequently until beef is browned.
Drain any excess grease.
Season beef with salt and black pepper.
In same skillet, add sour cream, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup milk, cubed Velveeta cheese and heat cheeseburger beef mixture on medium, stirring frequently until all cheese is melted. If adding tomatoes or corn, do so at this stage.
Place al dente pasta in prepared baking dish.
Add beef mixture and mix well.
Bake cheeseburger casserole for 15 minutes or until heated through.
Pull out of oven, sprinkle with shredded cheese and return to oven until melted, about 3-5 additional minutes.
Remove cheeseburger casserole from oven and serve while hot and melty.
