Never run out of Bisquick Baking Mix again by using simple household ingredients to create a perfect copycat substitute for homemade Bisquick on the fly.
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt with a whisk.
Cut in 1 tablespoon butter per 1 cup of baking mix with a pastry blender.
Notes
If you want to store this baking mix as a dry ingredient, simply leave out the butter, put dry ingredients in an air tight container and only cut in butter when ready to use.
Butter can be substituted with lard or shortening but if you add butter, lard or shortening in mix, any extra must be stored in an air tight container and placed in fridge or freezer for up to 3 months
