Notes
Best way to clean mushrooms. You may be asking yourself if you have to clean mushrooms. The answer is yes! Mushrooms are ground-bearing vegetables and typically come from the store with dirt. Sometimes rinsing does work, but I often find that dirt can stick to the mushroom's outer shell when it comes to whole mushrooms. If this is the case for you, use a damp paper towel (or damn cloth) to remove any dirt. Stand-alone Garlic Butter SauceAnd while this creamy garlic sauce makes these mushrooms the best deep flavored side dish ever, it's also fantastic when the mushrooms are replaced with mussels, shrimp, or even gnocchi!
