Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 12 cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix and pumpkin puree and mix well. Batter will be thick.

Spoon an equal amount of batter into 12 muffin tins. Cups will be full.
Bake muffin batter for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This timing can vary depending on your elevation and type of oven, so my advice is to check around the 15 minute mark. Cool completely before serving.
