These easy air fryer apple pies are made with Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pies and canned apple pie filling! The oatmeal cookies get slightly crispy in the air fryer, creating a warm mini apple dessert in just 5 minutes per batch. Serve with vanilla ice cream and cinnamon.
Prepare the muffin cups. Lightly grease the inside of 12 air-fryer-safe paper muffin cups with nonstick cooking spray.
Shape the oatmeal creme pies. Place one regular-size oatmeal creme pie into each muffin cup. Gently press your thumbs into the center of each cookie to create an indentation, shaping the edges upward to form a small cup.
Add the apple filling. Spoon a few pieces of canned apple pie filling into the center of each cookie. If the apple slices are large, use the side of a spoon to break them into smaller pieces. Avoid overfilling, since too many apples may not heat through during the short cooking time.
Air fry in batches. Place 3 filled oatmeal creme pies into the air fryer basket, making sure the cookies hold the paper muffin cups securely in place. Air fry at 350°F for 5 minutes without preheating. Repeat with the remaining pies, cooking 3 at a time. If using extra apple filling, additional cooking time may be needed until the apples are warmed through.
Serve warm. Carefully remove the mini apple pies from the air fryer and serve with vanilla ice cream and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, if desired.
