Instructions
Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes. This makes it easier to beat without lumps. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Add the marshmallow cream and mix again until fully combined. Fold in the thawed whipped topping and beat until the mixture is smooth and airy.
Add a small amount of green gel food coloring and mix well. Add more as needed until the color resembles Grinch green.
Spread the dip onto a serving plate in a heart shape. Use a spatula to create a small well in the center. Spoon the cherry pie filling into the center of the heart.
Serve immediately with cookies for dipping, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Due to the cream cheese, this dip firms in the fridge. Just set out 15 minutes before serving to soften up for easier dipping.
