This easy microwave fudge recipe is rich, creamy, and made with just 3 simple ingredients. Perfect for a quick holiday treat or homemade gift, this chocolate fudge comes together in minutes using sweetened condensed milk and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with aluminum foil, making sure the edges hang over for easy removal. Set aside. (see image in post if you are unsure how to accomplish this)
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well. Microwave on high for 60 seconds and stir until smooth. If the chocolate isn’t fully melted, return to the microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring well after each interval until completely smooth.
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
Once the chocolate mixture is melted and smooth, stir in the chopped walnuts.
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.
Let it cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator to set for at least 2 hours or overnight if possible.
Once chilled, lift the fudge out of the pan using the foil overhang. Peel away the foil and use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into squares. Its also a good idea to wipe off the knife between cuts to keep everything smooth and even.
