Ninja Foodi ham (also known as gammon) is an extraordinary way to cook in the event that you need it done rapidly. Keeping the oven clean and clear for other side dishes, the Ninja Foodi makes deliciously tender meat with crispy skin glaze. Using a pressure cooker is a distinct advantage! The Ninja Foodi all in one makes it super simple to pressure cook boneless ham and air crisp a delicious crispy Apricot glaze. A perfect way to get moist and flawless ham this holiday season! 6.5 quart Ninja Foodi used in recipe below - if you have a different Foodi or a different size ham over 6 pounds, please adjust timing according to reference sheets.
Place roasting rack into the instant pot ceramic inner pot.
Pour 1 cup of water into the pot.
Place the cooked boneless ham on the rack.
Place the pressure cooker lid onto the Foodi and twist to seal shut.
Close the pressure release valve. <------------Do not forget this!!
Set the Foodi to Pressure Cook HIGH for 10 minutes.
When cooking is complete, naturally release steam for 10 minutes.
Apricot Ham Glaze
Add preserves, brown sugar and apple cider vinegar and mix well. Set aside.
Carefully remove the pressure cooker lid when the cooking is complete.
Spoon glaze on top of the ham and using the Air Fryer lid, set the Foodi to Air Crisp for 8 minutes on 350 degrees.
When cooking cycle is complete, open the pot and carefully remove the ham.
The roasting rack will help you remove the ham from the Foodi, since it's molten lava hot.
Slice and serve.
Notes
Note: The ham we used is the Hickory Smoked Whole Natural Petite Boneless Ham - which is already precooked. If you are altering the size of the meat, thickness or its totally raw, this changes the whole recipe and you may need extra time in the pressure cooker and natural release.
