Equipment
air fryer
Ingredients
fresh apples
cored and sliced 1/8" thick
ground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 300°F for 5 minutes.
Place apple slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping for even cooking.
Sprinkle lightly with ground cinnamon.
Air fry at 300°F for 10 minutes.
Flip the apple slices carefully to keep them in a single layer, then continue to air fry for another 5 minutes.
Remove from air fryer and let cool slightly before serving. Apples will firm up a bit as they cool.
Notes
How long do chewy apple rings last?
Enjoy these immediately
or soon after making them. If left in a bag, they will continue to soften up.
Use a mandolin slicer for best results and uniform apple slices (CAREFULLY!!)
