Notes
Bread - The bread type can change the taste and texture of this homemade stuffing recipe. I use high-quality but plain white bread or plain wheat bread, but it's OK to vary the actual bread as long as it can be cut into bread cubes. From artisan to wheat to even French bread, do not be afraid to experiment. Can you Freeze Homemade Stuffing? You can freeze it and warm it up in the oven. You may need extra broth to prevent drying out.Prepping Stuffing the Night BeforeYou can prep this homemade stuffing ahead. Just follow the instructions, seal up with foil, and pop in the fridge. One of the main points when you prep ahead is to ensure extra moisture doesn't get into the dish, so make sure the seal is tight in an airtight container! Is this sausage stuffing carb-free?Sorry, everyone, this stuffing recipe is not low carb or keto-friendly!
