Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • flour tortillas
  • vegetable oil
  • Nutella

Instructions

  • Mix together white sugar and cinnamon and set aside.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut shapes out of a flour tortilla.
  • Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Wait until the oil is hot before moving on to the next step.
  • Add flour tortilla shapes and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, flipping halfway through until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  • While still warm, dredge cooked shapes into a cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Heat Nutella in the microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Serve with warm Nutella (or one of the other suggestions) to dip nachos into.

Notes

Note that the number of chips out of each flour tortilla is largely dependant on the size of the tortilla and the size of the cookie cutter.
Shown: The heart cutter is just over 2" in size and the stars cutter is 3". I used fajita-sized flour tortillas and got 7 hearts and 4 stars out of each one.

Dipping Suggestions

Warm Nutella, hot fudge, Cool Whip, caramel sauce, cut up strawberries, powdered sugar
