Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened and cubed
  • ½ cup Mexican Crema also known as table cream
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 5 fresh jalapeno peppers stems removed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dry chicken bouillon (or salt)
  • juice of half a lime

Instructions

  • Add softened cream cheese, Mexican Crema table cream, sour cream, fresh cilantro leaves, whole stemless jalapenos, all seasoning, and lime juice to a food processor.
  • Process until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl if necessary.
  • Spoon into a serving bowl and serve with nacho cheese Doritos. 

Notes

What is a substitute for Mexican crema? Substitutes for Mexican crema include sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, or a combination of mayonnaise and heavy cream.
Serve Jalapeno dip with Doritos, Tortillas, Corn Chips or a spread of fresh, raw vegetables.
