Spicy Dorito Taco Salad with delicious spicy dressing! Made with taco seasonings and jalapeno juice, this is the most perfect delicious Homemade Dressing to kick up your Dorito Salad. 8oz.diced jalapeno slices(reserve juice for homemade dressing)
1small white or purple oniondiced
8oz.shredded lettuce
2cupsshredded Colby Jack cheese
11oz.Dorito'scrushed
1teaspoonchili powder
1lbground beef
1oz.taco seasoning packet
1/4cupwater
Homemade Taco Dressing
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
2tablespoonsjuice from jalapenos
1oz.envelope spicy taco seasoning
1/2cupvegetable oil
Instructions
Start by browning the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it's no longer pink. Use tongs and a paper towel around pan to sop up extra grease, then add the taco seasoning, chili powder, and water. Let it cook until bubbly, then remove seasoned meat from heat and let it cool slightly.

While the beef cools, combine the drained and rinsed black beans, diced tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos in a large bowl. Add the cooked beef and shredded lettuce to the mixture, tossing everything together.

Next, stir in the shredded cheese and crushed Doritos. Gently toss the salad to make sure everything is well mixed. Add either Catalina dressing, French dressing, or go to the next instruction for a homemade spicy taco salad dressing.

For an extra kick, you can make a spicy dressing. Just whisk together 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of reserved jalapeno juice, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, and 1 packet of spicy taco seasoning. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss again to coat.

How long does taco salad last in the fridge? You can keep it approx. 2-3 days. The chips will get soggy in the fridge, so its best to serve chips bowl by bowl if you plan on storing rather than eating right away. Additionally some ingredients like avocado can brown and salad can wilt.
