Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 lb chicken breast cubed (uncooked)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 cans 15.5 oz each, great northern beans, undrained
- 1 can 4 oz, diced green chilies
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- shredded cheese
- fresh chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Add cooling oil, chunks of chicken, and minced garlic to a large stock pot.1 tablespoon oil, 1 lb chicken breast, 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Heat chicken on medium until all chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Stir in cans of undrained beans, green chilies, chicken broth, and all seasonings.2 cans, 1 can, 2 cups chicken broth, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Heat chili on high heat until boiling.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes.
