Ham Cheese ball smothered in pecan pieces, an easy WOW appetizer that uses up leftover diced ham for one of the easiest cheese ball recipes EVER! Cheeseballs are really simple to make with softened bricks of cream cheese making the base of the ball. Combining all the cream cheese, regular cheese, ham, and seasonings, the cheeseball is shaped and then totally smothered with nuts.

Instructions
Crush pecans into small finer pieces if needed.
Add softened cream cheese, chopped ham, green onions, and seasoned salt to a mixing bowl and mix well.
Form cream cheese mixture into a ball and place onto a piece of plastic wrap.
Cover the entire cheeseball with chopped pecans.
Wrap the ball up with plastic wrap. Press around the ball so it's neatly formed and pecans are pressed into cream cheese.
Refrigerate Ham cheese ball for a minimum of 2 hours or until ready to serve. The ball can also go into the freezer for quicker firming.
To serve, remove plastic and serve with butter crackers and a little serving knife.
Notes
If the chopped pecan pieces are still too large or you must purchase full pecans, put them in a zip lock baggie and use a rolling pin or the bottom of a cup to smash them smaller.You can also put the pecans in a food processor and pulse on low until the size you need. Be careful not to pulverize into dust.Different ways to cover a cheeseball include herbs, shredded cheese, walnuts, and dried fruit. Get creative!
