Bold, tangy flavors create this delicious and easy to make Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette, a great homemade dressing recipe to truly enjoy salads and side dishes - This recipe can easily be used as a dressing or dip.
Add diced onion, honey, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, crushed red pepper (if using) and vinegar in a blender or food processor and mix together until blended well and onions are fully incorporated.
Optionally add a bit of Dijon Mustard.
Pour in olive oil and blend again until combined.
Serve dressing immediately or store covered, at room temperature, until ready to use.
Shake well before using to make sure contents and oils haven't separated.
Notes
Add 1 tsp of Dijon Mustard (optional) to change up the flavors!
I never store dressings with olive oil and honey in the fridge as they can crystallize and solidify.
