Make sure your strawberry is very dry. Place onto a fire-safe roasting skewer.
Dredge strawberries carefully into the marshmallow cream. What usually happens is the strawberry will slide down the stick as you press it into the cream. The solution is to put your finger in front of the strawberry to keep it in place on the stick.
Coat all sides of the strawberry with marshmallow creme.
Roast marshmallow strawberry over hot coals of a fire, rotating and toasting each side. The marshmallow browns and gets a little crispy on the outside and then is ooey gooey on the inside. The strawberry shouldn't heat up too much and make it molten lava hot to eat, but always use caution when dealing with food over an open flame.
Remove the marshmallow strawberry from the heat and drizzle with chocolate syrup before serving.
Notes
Vary types of fruit like peaches, bananas, and pears.
Make sure the fruit is VERY dry, or the marshmallow creme won't stick as well.
Instead of chocolate syrup, try drizzling caramel, strawberry sauce, or Nutella.
Always use caution when eating food directly off a flame
Lastly, the amount you get out of this recipe is determined on the size and amount of strawberries in the carton - it can vary greatly.
