Need an easy, fun and quick hot appetizer dip? This mini Pepperoni pizza dip with mozzarella cheese, cream cheese and Parmesan bring together all the flavors of a pizza into a creamy, addictive dip!
garlic and parmesan pita chips or other chips for serving
Instructions
Before getting started, cream cheese should be softened by leaving on the counter for about 15-20 minutes. This allows for an easier mixing since cream cheese is hardened from the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 375 and grease a 2-1/2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix together cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and both cheeses, Parmesan and Mozzarella, in a mixing bowl.
Spread cream cheese mixture evenly into prepared pan. Add any flavor of your favorite marinara or pizza sauce on top and spread evenly. Top with mini pepperoni pieces.
Bake Pepperoni dip for 20 minutes or until edges begin to bubble and dip is hot.
Sprinkle top with chopped fresh basil before serving for a true pizza experience.
Notes
What to dip in Pepperoni Dip?While my go-to dippers with this Pizza Dip is pita chips, there are so many other options that would work really well. Choose a bread or cracker that isn’t going to fall apart in all that gooey-goodness, like toasted baguette slices, toasted bagels, or even breadsticks. Ritz crackers, pretzels, or bagel chips would also be great for dipping, too.How do I store and reheat Pepperoni Pizza Dip?On the off chance that there is ANY Pizza Dip leftover, wrap the dish in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 5 days. To reheat, bake at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes or until warmed throughout.
