Pizza Dip Ingredients

  • 1 block (8 oz) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (or a mix of 2 parts each dried basil, oregano, parsley; 1 part each rosemary, red chili flakes; ½ part garlic powder)
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup pizza sauce (Ragu Homemade Style or Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce recommended)
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices (spicy or turkey versions work too)
  • Fresh basil, roughly chopped

Not only is this Pizza Dip delicious, but it also comes together in just 30 minutes, making it a quick and easy go-to recipe that you’ll want to make over and over again.

Prep the Cream Cheese: Leave the cream cheese on the counter for about 15-20 minutes to soften. This makes mixing much easier.

Preheat and Prep the Dish: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 2-1/2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, ground pepper, shredded mozzarella, and parmesan cheese until well mixed.

Spread in Pan: Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.

Ingredients
 

  • 16 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 5 oz. mini pepperoni
  • chopped fresh basil optional for garnish
  • garlic and parmesan pita chips or other chips for serving

  • Before getting started, cream cheese should be softened by leaving on the counter for about 15-20 minutes. This allows for an easier mixing since cream cheese is hardened from the fridge.

What to dip in Pepperoni Dip?
While my go-to dippers with this Pizza Dip is pita chips, there are so many other options that would work really well.  Choose a bread or cracker that isn’t going to fall apart in all that gooey-goodness, like toasted baguette slices, toasted bagels, or even breadsticks.  Ritz crackers, pretzels, or bagel chips would also be great for dipping, too.
How do I store and reheat Pepperoni Pizza Dip?
On the off chance that there is ANY Pizza Dip leftover, wrap the dish in plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 5 days.  To reheat, bake at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes or until warmed throughout.
