Ensure the cheese cubes are about 2" to avoid breaking when placed on the skewer.
Assemble the Skewers:
Take a skewer and start by sliding on a piece of pita bread.
Fold a strip of lettuce in a zigzag pattern and add it to the skewer. Add a grape or cherry tomato next.
Fold a slice of ham in a zigzag pattern and place it on the skewer. Follow with a cube of cheese.
Fold a half slice of salami in a zigzag pattern and add it to the skewer.
Repeat the layers until the skewer is full, leaving enough space at the end for handling. These skewers can be served immediately or covered and refrigerated until ready to serve.
Serving Suggestions:
For easier serving, consider placing the skewers in a container filled with granulated sugar to keep them upright.
