Sweetened cream cheese sandwiched between two layers of Pillsbury crescent roll dough, topped with a crunchy cinnamon sugar crust. An easy, viral dessert ready in under an hour.
2(8 oz.) Pillsbury crescent roll sheets refrigerated
3(8 oz.)cream cheese barssoftened
1 1/2cupswhite sugar
2tspvanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Topping
1/2cupwhite sugar
1tbsp.ground cinnamon
4tbsp.melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking pan. Unroll one package of Pillsbury crescent roll sheets and press it into the bottom of the pan, sealing any seams so you have one solid layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
Add the cream cheese to a large microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 60 second bursts at 50% power, stirring in between, until smooth (about three rounds). Stir in the white sugar and vanilla and mix well.
Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust. Unroll the second package of crescent roll sheets over the top, then spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over that.
Mix the white sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl. Pour the melted butter evenly over the pan, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over everything.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden and crunchy (all ovens can be different so monitor for your own). Let cool until just slightly warm before slicing, this gives you a much cleaner cut, then serve.
