These walking dirt cups are made with individual Oreo snack bags, layered with creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and topped with gummy worms. They're easy to prep, fun to serve, and perfect for camping trips, school events, or birthday parties.
Cut each Oreo snack bag open on the short end and remove 2 cookies. Set the cookies aside in a bowl.
Roll the top of each bag down about 1 1/2 inches to make room for filling. Set bags upright on a tray.
Crush the reserved cookies using a tart shaper or by sealing in a bag and gently smashing. Set crumbs aside.
In a mixing bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Refrigerate for 5 minutes to thicken.
Fold whipped topping into the pudding until fully combined.
Spoon or pipe the mixture into each Oreo bag using a large pastry bag with a 1/2-inch snip.
Top each bag with two gummy worm halves and about 1 teaspoon of crushed cookies.
Notes
If you prefer the cookies to stay crunchy, serve the desserts shortly after assembling.
For a softer, more cake-like cookie texture, make the dirt in a bag cups a few hours ahead of time and refrigerate. The moisture from the filling will naturally soften the Oreos as they sit.
When made ahead, cover the tray with foil or plastic wrap and store upright in the fridge to keep everything in place.
