If you have never tried a fluffy coke recipe, you may not be alone. This viral fluffy soda has gained some worldwide fame on social media.
With only 2 ingredients, marshmallow-lined glasses filled with soda of choice (we like orange crush but the most common is Coke), this sweet and creamy beverage is a pretty fun trend.
Does 2 ingredient Fluffy Coke live up to the hype?
As with all viral recipes, we go in with a grain of salt.
There have been plenty of controversial recipes, like Slow Cooker olive garden chicken pasta and feta pasta, but also lots of incredible winners, like parmesan crusted potatoes and the surprising pickle cookie trend.
Of course, my child was OVER THE MOON when I made these.
We both agree the orange crush is where it is! It tasted better to us than the Coke. Either way, the fluff that lines the glass softens the bite that normal soda has and foams it up.
Ingredients:
- marshmallow fluff
- coke (good) or orange crush (better) soft drink
- ice cubes
Note: Marshmallow fluff and marshmallow creme are not the same ingredient. Make sure to get marshmallow fluff!
How to make Fluffy Coke
Spread marshmallow fluff in the inside of a glass so it’s about 1/8″ thick. We found that using a butter knife works super well for this but if you have a smaller spatula, that should be fine as well.
Add ice and slowly top with a soft drink. Serve immediately.
The fluff does freeze a bit with the ice, but as you stir and drink, it begins to dissolve. Similar to a float (with coke and ice cream), you will need a large straw or a spoon to make sure to get all those bits of fluff swirled in properly.
Overall, we thought it was a fun, easy, and creative way to sip poolside this summer.
Variations
Add an additional scoop of marshmallow fluff on top that you can push down into the glass.
Squeeze a lemon into the coke. This is something we learned when visiting Europe, and honestly, I realize its random, but it’s just so good to have a lemon in a coke.
Try with lots of other soda types like Dr. Pepper, Root Beer, Mountain Dew, and our personal favorite, Orange Crush.

Instructions
- Spread marshmallow fluff in the inside of a glass so it’s about 1/8″ thick.
