My favorite Ham and Cheese Slider Recipe

I can’t tell you how many times these Ham and Cheese Sliders have saved me when I’ve needed something easy but still awesome to serve up. The combination of melted Swiss cheese and savory ham, all packed into soft King’s Hawaiian rolls, is a classic and familiar combination that just works. Plus, the lightly crispy golden brown top gives the sliders that extra something which makes this one of the best slider recipes for a party. They’re a family favorite at my house – especially when I am feeling lazy and want a quick dinner.

Just like with my Pizza Sliders recipe, you can customize the filling to suit your family’s preferences. And if you’re planning a party, these sliders pair perfectly with Chopped Italian Sliders or Meatball Sliders to give your guests a variety of tasty options!

If you’re putting together a full spread, consider offering these sliders alongside Buffalo Chicken Sliders or Sloppy Joe Sliders for a savory, meaty variety that everyone will love!

Tips for Perfect Sliders

  • More cheese, please! If you’re a cheese lover like me, feel free to add an extra slice of Swiss or even a different type of cheese like cheddar for a sharper flavor.
  • Prepping for a party? These sliders can be prepped in advance (except for adding the topping- do that right before) and stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Just cover the pan with foil and bake them with the topping when you’re ready to serve.
  • Crispy top hack: For an extra crispy top, pop the sliders under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes of baking, but keep a close eye on them to avoid burning.
