What did we think about this viral “recession-proof” recipe?
I have a hard time using the term “chicken” in this recipe since there isn’t any actual chicken, but rather the “chicken flavor” from the ramen seasoning. The flavor is not super hot, I’d add more hot sauce if you want your mouth to be on fire, but it has a nice kick.
Ingredients:
- chicken flavored ramen
- hot sauce
- sour cream
- chopped green onions for serving
Alternative: Use Buffalo Chicken Ranch Sauce instead of Franks Red Hot

TikTok Ramen (the sweet version), Ramen Lasagna, and Ramen Grilled Cheese have been super fun and silly trends.
Ramen noodles are relatively inexpensive, making them an economical option for many people. Recession low-cost meals are important for families to get the most out of their meals, and ramen noodles tend to provide that.
At less than 1 dollar per serving, this dish ranks high on the affordability scale!
Changes we would make to this Ramen Recipe
We def love the challenge of making the noodles appetizing and Franks red hot does that! But overall, this dish would be even better with some chicken
