How to Make Air Fryer Oreo Stuffed Beignets

No need to preheat! Lightly spray your air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking. Using the Ninja Foodi? This is the perfect way to utilize its air fryer function.

Here’s the trick: Wrap the dough around the cookie like a dumpling, then gently roll it between your hands to form a smooth ball. This ensures the dough seals completely, preventing it from splitting open while cooking.

Unroll the crescent dough on a sheet of parchment paper to prevent sticking. Gently separate the triangles. Place an Oreo or a Reese’s cup in the center of each triangle

Place the dough balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.

Air fry at 350°F for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Check them at the 7-minute mark, as air fryer times can vary.

Use tongs to pull fried dough out of the air fryer basket – they are hot!

Once done, carefully use tongs to remove the beignets. They’ll be hot! Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce while still warm for an extra indulgent touch.

Tips for Perfect Air Fryer Beignets

  • Best Way to Roll: To prevent the dough from tearing, pinch the edges firmly and roll gently between your hands like playdough. This helps seal the Oreo inside completely.
  • Stuffing Options: Besides the many Oreo flavors available, try stuffing with chocolate candies, peanut butter cups, or even a chocolate chip cookie.
  • Glazes and Toppings: Drizzle with melted chocolate, caramel, or even sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Frequently Asked Questions

What dough works best for air fryer beignets?

I recommend using crescent roll dough for its buttery flavor and easy-to-use sheets. It creates a perfectly flaky crust around the Oreo filling.

How do I store fried Oreo Beignets leftovers?

Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes to keep the dough crispy.

Tips for Using Different Air Fryers

While this recipe was made using a Ninja Foodi, any air fryer will work. Just remember, all air fryers cook slightly differently. Watch the beignets the first time you make them to find the perfect cook time for your specific model.

Cook Time 7 minutes

Ingredients

  • 8 count pack of Crescent Roll Dough
  • Oreo’s or Reese’s Peanut butter Cups both shown
  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Spray Ninja Foodi tender crisp cooking basket with nonstick cooking spray.  If you are using any other Air Fryer brand, spray air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place a piece of parchment paper on the kitchen counter and unfold croissant dough (crescent roll dough) on a flat surface and gently separate. If the dough is difficult to separate, use a pizza roller.
  • Add any flavor Oreo, Reese’s cup, or any cookie to croissant dough the inside of the dough.
  • Gather dough together and squeeze top to close the Oreo inside, taking care not to tear the dough or leave any side openings. I found it best to simply gather like a dumpling and then roll in your hands like a ball of play dough till round.
  • Complete all Oreo stuffed beignets.
  • Place cooked filled dough inside air fryer basket.
  • Set Air Fryer on 350 Degrees for 7 minutes. You may need 8 minutes total, but check at 7 for desired doneness and golden brown crust.
  • Pull beignets out of Ninja Foodi with tongs.
  • If the dough sticks a little on the basket, use two forks on either side of the dough to gently release bottom without tearing dough (We had one that stuck a little and two forks helped it come right up).
  • Place Air Fried Oreo Stuffed Beignets on plate and dust with powdered sugar or chocolate sauce.
  • Serve Air Fryer Dessert immediately and while hot! (they wont be as good cooled down!)

  1. These are so good….really quick and easy to make too!

  2. It’s hard to believe but if I’m not eating all of them in one sitting can they be heated in a microwave? Any suggestions on timing, or if you recommend other ways to reheat? Thank you.

If I had any left, I would simply just drop them in the microwave for 15 seconds or so. Anything you air fry or real fry wont taste exactly the same as fresh. 🙂
