Where to Buy Everything Bagel Seasoning
Everything bagel is a combination of poppy seeds, toasted sesame seeds, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, and sea salt.
You can find seasonings like this in the regular spice aisle. I have seen Everything Bagel Seasoning at Publix, Aldi, Trader Joe’s and Fresh Market, even Walmart carries it, so I believe its widely available.
If you cannot find it at your local grocery, try Amazon.
Two favorite Balsamic Glaze Brands
In the past, I have simple made homemade balsamic glaze by reducing balsamic vinegar. But it takes time and once I discovered you can purchase Balsamic Glaze already done and the perfect consistency every time, I never looked back.
My two favorite brands are
- Monari Federzoni Balsamic Vinegar Glaze
- Bertolli Balsamic Glaze
How to make Everything But the Bagel Avocado Salad
Before you get started, you need to prep your vegetables.
First quarter your tomatoes, cut your fresh basil, cut your avocado and drain any water out of your mozzarella pearls container (they often come in water).
To make your mozzarella go further, you could also cut the pearls in half IF you wanted to (Not shown here).
Place tomatoes, cheese, avocado and basil in a large mixing bowl.
Mix well.
Squeeze juice of one lemon on mixture. If you have lemon juice but no fresh lemons available, substitute with 1-2 tablespoons of juice.
Mix well to evenly coat.
Add Everything bagel seasoning (at least 1 tablespoon, but more if you’d like) and mix well.
Spoon into a serving bowl and drizzle with balsamic glaze and additional seasoning if desired.
Serve immediately.
Storage
This salad is best made and served immediately as avocado browns when left in the fridge.
While it tastes the same, it doesn’t look as appetizing to eat.
How Many Does this Salad Serve?
I think side salads are pretty subjective when it comes to servings.
It depends if you are eating it as a meal or with a meal, but overall this salad can serve approximately 4.
