Disney Grilled Cheese Ingredients

This iconic Disney Grilled Sandwich from Toy Story Land might be hard to get to now, but no worries – you can make it at home with this simple recipe!

Our recipe is the viral TikTok Disney Grilled Cheese version, which has slight variations. But if you want the original recipe, that is also listed below in a link.

Both are amazing, decadent, and a delicious way to indulge in better-than-average Grilled Cheese right from your own kitchen.

While sometimes a main dish, this ultimate grilled cheese is a beautiful side dish compliment to thick creamy winter soups like tomato or broccoli cheese.

Where can you find Grilled Cheese in the Disney Parks?

The original classic recipe of this famous grilled cheese is located in Toy Story Land inside Woody’s Lunch Box restaurant, which is located in Hollywood Studios.

What is different about this TikTok Grilled Cheese vs. the Disney Blog Grilled Cheese?

In the Disney blog recipe, there are no spices like Cayenne or Red Pepper. There is also no Honey drizzle, and Disney uses heavy cream to thin out the cream cheese.

I have made both, and both are delicious and very close in flavor.

How to make Disney Grilled Cheese

Step 1 – PREPPING THE MAYO AND CREAM CHEESE

  1. Mix mayonnaise, garlic powder, and sea salt – set the bowl aside.
  2. Mix softened cream cheese, sea salt, and freshly shredded Parmesan cheese in a separate bowl.
  3. OPTIONAL: If you want a bit of spice, sprinkle with a dash of cayenne pepper in this step.
  4. Mix all cream cheese ingredients well. Set bowl aside.

Oh, I noticed you had a mistake. It’s *COARSE* Salt, not Course. I know how hard it is with things going on, it’s easy to miss! This looks like a fantastic grilled cheese recipe, yum!!

    1. Thank you! Charlotte has Covid and we have all been on quarantine for almost 2 weeks, so its been a frustrating Christmas. I got that fixed – you are the best! The recipe is great, I hope you try it for lunch tomorrow.

      Hi Trish,

Question.. I like to make and freeze sandwiches ahead, I do it with cheese Frenchies all the time I always have at least a dozen on hand on the freezer. Could I do the same with the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich?. By the way I use both COARSE and Course, couldn’t cook without them…of cors..

    3. I always hesitate to answer questions that I havent actually done yet – in this case I havent actually frozen this grilled cheese recipe, but in THEORY there shouldnt be much difference as the ingredients freeze fine on their own. I would recommend using a panini if you have one to fry it back up after defrosting and bring it more of a freshness taste!

  2. Roma Pate says:

    Hey Charlotte,

So sorry to hear about your bout with Covid.. I had it early on back in March, still have some lingering effects, taste is back, smell not so much. Here’s wishing you the best in the New Year and the very best in health.

    1. Hi Roma!

I am so sorry to hear and hope that smell comes back soon. Charlotte lost her sense of smell first and taste followed a week later. She is just out of “quarantine” but all her senses havent come back yet, which is a bummer. We wish you the best as well with getting all your senses back soon!
