Can you use leftover pulled pork?

Yes. This worked out great as I had part of an uncooked pork butt from another recipe! So I cooked it up and added some bbq sauce to it for this recipe.

  • sour cream
  • Cheese – mozzarella cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Seasoning– garlic powder, teaspoon salt, ground black pepper, and BBQ rub seasoning.

How to make Pulled Pork Dip

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Add cream cheese, sour cream, 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, corn and pulled pork to a mixing bowl and mix well until smooth and combined.

  1. Spread into a 10″ cast iron skillet and smooth evenly.
  2. Generously add bbq rub seasoning to the top. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes or until hot. Remove from oven and top with fresh jalapeno pepper slices, bbq sauce, and chopped red onion. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 15.25 oz. corn drained
  • 2 cups bbq pulled pork
  • 1 tbsp  bbq rub seasoning Weber's Cowboy Seasoning for the BBQ Rub

Topping

  • ¼ cup mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup cheddar cheese
  • jalapeno peppers sliced
  • bbq sauce
  • red onion chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350.  
  • Add softened cream cheese, sour cream, 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese, 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, drained can of corn, and cooked pulled pork to a mixing bowl and mix well until smooth and combined.
  • Spread dip into a 10" cast iron skillet and smooth evenly.

  • Bake pulled pork dip for 20 minutes or until hot. Remove from oven and top with fresh jalapeno pepper slices, bbq sauce, and chopped red onion. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

  1. This is delicious and something different than the typical dips and an awesome way to use up smoked pulled pork. I did heat it up in the oven and threw it all in a crockpot to keep warm.
