Summer or Fall: Strawberries are plentiful in the summer months, and this creamy drink should be at the top of the menu. But what about fall?
While strawberries are more expensive in the stores, it’s still quick and easy and great for an infused drink year-round.

- Place the remaining 1-1/2 lbs. of berries into a high-powered blender.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and granulated sugar.
- Blend strawberries and milk until smooth.
- Pour milk and ice cubes into a pitcher.
- Add the strawberry mixture from the blender and additional strawberry slices and stir well.
- Pour into glasses or mason jars (optionally top with a fresh mint sprig) and serve immediately.
Would we make Agua Fresca again?
Yes, HOWEVER, we would not add the additional granulated white sugar. It’s an unnecessary step, as the sweetened condensed milk takes care of the sweetener.
Water or Milk?
You can make this recipe with water OR cold milk. On TikTok, they make “con leche,” which combines strawberries and milk.
What other flavors can be added to Agua Fresca?
Try a quick blend with other fruits! Berries or a combination of berries (like blackberry strawberry and raspberry strawberry) are always super popular.
Fresh fruit drinks are such a simple recipe with a natural sweetness that you can get creative and control your refreshing beverage and all its delicious flavors quite easily.
